Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CPO Paper-I Result 2017 on Wednesday 6th September on the official website. The examination of the SSC Central Police Organisation was conducted from July 1st to July 7th.

The cut-off for the result has been observed high. The cut off for the male candidates of General Category is 117.25 whereas for the female candidates it is 112.5.

SSC is declaring a number of results this month, with SSC CPO Result 2017 out, the next will be the SSC CPO Paper-II 2016. The SSC CPO 2016 result has been scheduled to be unveiled on 8th of September. Further the organisation will reveal the results for the Junior Hindi Translator SSC JHT Result 2017.

Steps to check the result:-

  • First of all go to the official website ssc.nic.in.
  • Click the tab “Result”.
  • Click the appropriate link from the POP UP Window.
  • Enter the asked details.
  • The SSC CPO Paper-I Result 2017 will be appeared.
  • Check the result.
  • Take the print out and keep it secure.

The Staff Selection Commission has revealed the SSC CPO Paper-I Result 2017 before the three days of scheduled date. As per the new SSC Calendar the result was expected to be released on 9th of September.

A total of 46,864 candidates have qualified the examination, out of those 11,457 are from general category, 7383 are from SC, 3605 ST, 21,284 and 3,135 are from OBC and ex-servicemen category.

For male candidates the cut offs stand at 117.25 for general, 90.25 for SC, 90 for ST, 102 for OBC, and 43 for ex-servicemen whereas for the  female candidates the cut off for general is 112.5, for SC it is 84.75, ST cut off is 81, and for OBC it is 97.75.

The SSC CPO Paper-II 2017 will be conducted on 15th Dec 2017 and all the paper-I qualifiers will be allowed to attend the Paper-II examination.
