Akshay Kumar’s Toilet-Ek Prem Katha which was based on the Swach Bharat Abhiyan of Narandra Modi. The movie was released on 3200 screens on last Friday and made the collection of 13.10 crore on the first day.

Toilet 1 Prem Katha is a story of a man whose wife left him after discovering that there are no any sanitation facilities. The man stands against this inconvenience and roll out a mission.

This tweet shows up everything that the movie doing good in the multiplexes as well. Toilet – Ek Prem Katha with Bhumi Pednekar lending him ample support, he has again managed to ensure a double digit opening which should only lead to bigger numbers in this holiday season that will last till Tuesday.

The movie was made at the budget of 18 cores, the movie features the astonish acting of Bhumi Pednekar and directorial debut of Shree Narayan Singh.

The film earned Rs 30. 20 crore within two days, and is expected to bring in more money over the coming days. The film is loosely based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet project, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Akshay Kumar is known for delivering films with powerful content. Focusing the issue of sanitation, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha highlighted the hurdles that have prevented change in the society, since this is the first time when both the lead actors are working together in a movie. Akshay Kumar is one of the senior actors who have delivered the movie Jolly LLB 2 earlier and it was really a fantastic movie.
