The Govt. of Uttar Pradesh which has been led by CM Yogi Aditya Nath, has allocated 10 cores for the completion of construction work at Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Lucknow, which is the capital of Uttar Pradesh.

CM Yogi Adityanath is said to be the most aggressive CM of UP till now, after being selected for the CM post Yogi Adityanth has made many changes in the Uttar Pradesh.
IIIT Lucknow comes under one of the 20 IIITs. It is being set up by the central government under the public-private partnership (PPP) model a couple of years ago. The institute is being set up with a financial contribution from the Union ministry of human resource development, UP government and UP Electronics Corporation Ltd as the industry partner.
It has been said that the permanent campus of IIIT is coming up on 50 acres of land at Chak Ganjariya, Lucknow. Although right now, the institute is temporarily operating from the IIIT, Allahabad Jahlwa Campus.
Pankaj Mishra who is the spoke person IIIT Lucknow said that IIIT, Lucknow admitted the first batch of students for B.Tech in Information Technology course with an intake of 50 in the academic session 2015-16, said Pankaj Mishra, spokesperson of IIIT-Lucknow.
The admission of all the students who are studying in the IIITs are made by the counselling followed by the mains and advance examination of JEE (Joint Entrance Examination).
All the candidates who are endowed with eligibility criterion of the Joint Entrance Examination have to undergo two written examination and after that a counselling is there which provide the colleges to the students.
