On Step down Decision of Anil Kumble the former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly reacts that the decision of Anil Kumble from step down to Indian coach was personal. When anil kumble elected for Head Indian cricket team coach, the Sourav Ganguly was the member of three-member advisory committee (CAC).
Sourav Ganguly said that to resign form Indian head coach by Anil Kumble was the anil kumble’s personal choice. Anil Kumble resigned at the last minute that was the personal decision of Anil Kumble. Sourav Ganguly Said that I don’t want to talk on this matter. Earlier Kumble said that Virat Kohli reserved about his coaching style and there partnership was untenable as he did not accompany the side in the ongoing tour to West Indies.

On this matter Kumble said that “I am honored by the confidence reposed in me by the CAC, in asking me to continue as head coach. The credit for the achievements of the last one year goes to captain, the entire team, coaching and support staff”. “Post this intimation, I was informed for the first time yesterday by the BCCI that the captain had reservations with my ‘style’ and about my continuing head the coach”
“I was surprised since I have always respected the role boundaries between captain and coach. Though the BCCI attempted to resolve the misunderstandings between the captain and me, it was apparent that the partnership was untenable, and therefore believe it is best for me to move on”, he added.
Kumble had expired one year contract on the head coach with the finish of ICC Champions Trophy but the Kumble was given chance to stay with the Indian team till West indies one day tour of the team. But on Tuesday Kumble refused to stay with the team and he had left the Indian coach Post.
