One among the top mobile manufacturers in the Indian market Lenovo has some plans for this new year 2017. The company is looking forward to launching its powerhouse handset which has got some great specs in the country’s mobile market. Like the previous models belonging to the P1 series iteration, Lenovo P2’s highlight is its long-lasting battery life.

This most awaited handset Lenovo P2 from the company has already been revealed at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) earlier in the past year 2016 in September. And now, after a whole lot of time and different speculations, Lenovo P2 is all set for a launch in the country’s mobile market.

Lenovo P2 is more likely to house a gigantic 5,100 mAh battery which will remain as the main highlight of the mobile handset. This battery, a 5,100 mAh powerhouse is already being used in the P1 series of the Lenovo smartphones which is more enough to live the handset for more than 78 hours in terms of 4G talk time and also capable of making the device live on standby mode for more than 32 days.

Lenovo P2 which is going to be launched in India very soon is more likely to sport a 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED display mated to a fingerprint sensor powered by an Android Marshmallow operating system which can also be updated to the latest version of the Android i.e., Android 7.0 Nougat.

The device is currently available with 3GB / 4GB, a 13 MP camera and also a 5 MP front camera variants. The device sports a LED flash at the rear for snapping the best pictures and all the variants of the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU and also provides Adreno 506 GPU graphics engine.

At present, Lenovo P2 is being sold in the European mobile market at a price of $261.

  1. Could I please get the source for the claim that the Lenovo P2 is getting the update to Android 7.0? I’m thinking about buying one and would love to know!
